Drogba expected to start against Everton

Drogba was dropped for Monday night's goalless draw with Fulham after his partnership with Fernando Torres struggled to make an impact in the previous weekend's defeat by Liverpool.

Torres, the Blues' new £50million signing, is cup-tied so Drogba will lead the line against Everton at Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile, the concentration of Petr Cech has been praised by Chelsea goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon following his penalty save against Fulham.

Cech parried Clint Dempsey's stoppage-time spot-kick to prevent a chastening defeat in the west London derby.

"It is very important to do a great save but it is not always the most important thing," Lollichon told the club's official website, www.chelseafc.com.

"The most important thing is to maintain the right attitude right through the game and maintain the right position tactically.

"If Petr is in the right position he can avoid making a lot of saves.

"During the specific training we work technically and tactically with a player but it is very important also to work with video, to observe his performance.

"A penalty is a very important save, but during the second half he made a technically-perfect catch. One member of the Fulham staff said to me that Petr caught a lot of high balls in the game and that is because his concentration is very good."
