Chelsea have one full-back of note - Wayne Bridge.

Chelsea have a buying policy of getting the best on the market - it's a moot point about the actual signings but the policy is sound.

Ashley Cole is the best left-back in the country - his Euro 2004 performances confirm this.

Chelsea do not care how others view their business operations- they see any veto on how they conduct business as a restriction of trade.


Gossip - Steven Gerard has already spoken to Chelsea about a summer move to the Bridge.
Ashley Cole already had talks about becoming the best paid full-back in footballing history and a chance to join a club that will be dominate for the next five years at least - with trophies to follow.
