De Bruyne waits for Chelsea chance

The Belgium international made his first appearance in a month as he started Tuesday's Capital One Cup win over Arsenal but he has played just five times this season for the Stamford Bridge side.

Limited chances could damage his World Cup hopes but the 22-year-old said for the time being he is committed to doing better at Chelsea rather than trying to get game time somewhere else.

"To be honest, I haven't thought about it yet. I know something has to change. Sooner or later, I will have to play," he told Belgian newspaper told Het Laatste Nieuws.

"But what can I do at this moment besides training hard and keeping quiet?

"I feel really strong at this time - I think I have never been this fit before.

"I got a lot of support off family and friends who visit me over here.

"My team-mates have been fantastic. You know, I haven't worried much about my situation.

"My career has always gone up but then it's sometimes normal it makes a horizontal line."
