8 min All pretty much as you'd expect so far. Chelsea with roughly 94% of possession, Brentford keeping their shape and stopping them from going anywhere exciting with it. Plenty of long balls out from the back by the visitors. But there's a shot for Brentford's Adam Forshaw, who beats an uninterested Oscar on the right and has a dig from 25 yards. What with all of the excitement of the fifth round (Oldham! Barnsley! The Milton Keynes Dons!) yesterday, it might have escaped your attention that there's still a fourth round tie lingering in this competition like an unpleasant smell.

It's emanating from west London, where the area's best team are playing host to its third best (sorry, QPR you'd lose to Brentford at the moment).

Brentford earned their right to some lovely Stamford Bridge money today with a gutsy 2-2 draw at Griffin Park sometime in about 2011.

This lunchtime we're going to see whether Uwe Rösler's side can make life desperately unpleasant for Rafa Benítez, or if Brentford will roll over and lose 5-1 as everyone expects them to.

There's something about lunchtime kick-offs which does not feel conducive to FA Cup shocks but perhaps we shall all be surprised and delighted this afternoon?

Team News David Luiz, Demba Ba, Victor Moses and John Obi Mikel are available for Chelsea's FA Cup fourth-round replay with Brentford on Sunday after missing the Europa League win at Sparta Prague.

Luiz was suspended, Ba ineligible and Moses and Mikel rested, after winning the Africa Cup of Nations with Nigeria, while John Terry and Ashley Cole were unused substitutes.

Cole had a cold and Terry was not risked after a setback in his recovery from a knee injury, but the captain is in line to return in defence against the Bees. Oriol Romeu is a long-term absentee.

Brentford manager Uwe Rösler has no fresh concerns and he will hope that Marcello Trotta, on loan from Fulham, can add to his three goals in four games in all competitions for Brentford. He was on the bench for the 2-0 win over Stevenage in midweek, as was Toumani Diagouraga, and both will hope to feature.

Long-term absentees striker Farid El-Alagui and midfielder Kevin O'Connor miss out.

Match Notes Chelsea are comfortable in the FA Cup; only once in the last 14 years have they failed to reach the fifth round and have kost only two of their last 18 replays in the competition.

But it took a late equaliser from Fernando Torres to earn a replay, so Chelsea will be aware of the threat from a League One side that prepared, in midweek, by beating Stevenage 2-0.

However, Chelsea have won the FA Cup in four of the last six seasons and are the current holders so they will not relinquish the trophy lightly.

Stat of the game: Brentford’s only win at Stamford Bridge came 74 years ago, in February 1939 in the old First Division.
