Chelsea prepared to let Inter & PSG target Romelu Lukaku leave

Chelsea are prepared to let their club record signing Romelu Lukaku leave the club this summer, with Inter and PSG interested in the Belgian, 90min understands.

The Blues paid a staggering £97.5m to bring Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge in 2021 - the number nine spent three years there between 2011 and 2014 - but having scored just five Premier League goals this season, he has clearly not lived up to expectations.

Now not even a regular fixture in Chelsea's starting XI under Thomas Tuchel, 90min understands that the Blues manager is keen to cut the club's losses and sell this summer.

The interested parties in taking Lukaku off Chelsea's hands include Inter, who are very much open to the forward returning to San Siro - where he previously enjoyed a fantastic two-year spell in which he scored 64 goals in 95 appearances in all competitions.

With Inter still owed a huge chunk of the £97.5m fee the Blues agreed last summer to bring the forward back to England, the finances required to make any deal possible are very much within I Nerazurri's means.

The main sticking point for any move back to Inter is PSG's interest in Lukaku. Sources have confirmed to 90min that the Ligue 1 giants have already been in contact with the 28-year-old's representatives over a potential summer move to Parc des Princes. PSG would obviously have little trouble matching Lukaku's current Chelsea contract terms, or paying any sort of fee for that matter.

Les Parisiens are keen to revamp their final third options this summer and, as 90min reported in February, are also eyeing a blockbuster move to sign Cristiano Ronaldo.

90min has learned that Inter are also eyeing a revamp of their striking options, and are open to allowing Lautaro Martinez move on this summer. The hugely talented forward is of interest to Atletico Madrid, Arsenal and Tottenham - all of whom held talks with the player's agents last year and have remained in contact since.

The replacement for their star Argentine forward is likely to be another Argentine forward: Paulo Dybala.

The 28-year-old failed to agree terms with Juventus over a new contract and, as such, is set to leave Turin this summer. 90min have been told that Inter are locked in talks with Dybala and his representatives and are interested in partnering him up with Lukaku at San Siro next season.
