Cavani Agent Says No to Chelsea Move

According to Edinson Cavani's agent his client will not be making the move to Chelsea in January.

Reports from coming from Talksport last week indicated that Roman Abramovich was ready to back his Manager Andres Villas Boas and fund a ?150m overhaul on his ageing side, with Cavani said to be high on the list of targets.

But Claudio Anellucci (the players agent) said: "Chelsea? Cavani said that Napoli is good so there is no reason to worry because he has no problem with staying. It is a problem that concerns Napoli but not us.

"Rumours are part and the game of football, but I think of serious things, not the rumours. Cavani has had a happy Christmas and had a chance to rest. He disconnected the plug for a few days to recharge the batteries.

"During the holidays I do not think about business affairs, I only received phone calls from friends."
