Carlo Could Have Been Killed!

Around 15 minutes into the game, a missile was thought to have landed near the Shrewsbury keeper- but chief superintendant Peter Wright has revealed that it nearly hit Carlo Cudicini.

Any contact from the object (a cylinder shaped metal object) could have ended his career- or killed him!

Peter Wright revealed, "The missile actually landed near the Chelsea goalkeeper, Carlo Cudicini, not Ian Dunbavin the Shrewsbury goalkeeper. We think it is important for Ian Dunbavin that this is made understood.

"Shrapnel off an object like that is capable of killing. The goalkeeper's career could have been finished on the spot,'' he added in the Shropshire Star.

Thank god that it didn't hit Carlo- and I'm not just saying that as a Chelsea fan...
