Aurelien Tchouameni claims he still hasn't decided his next move

Coveted Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has insisted he is yet to decide where his future lies amid interest from some of Europe's leading clubs.

The 22-year-old has emerged as one of the continent's outstanding defensive-minded midfielders over the past two seasons and appears destined for the very top of the game.

Tchouameni is set to depart Monaco this summer and he was always likely to have the pick of European football's elite. 90min understands Real Madrid are close to striking a deal with his club, although the player has agreed personal terms with Chelsea, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Los Blancos.

Behind closed doors it is believed the midfielder's preference is a move to the Bernabeu, although he has now publicly claimed his mind is still not made up.

Asked about his future by Telefoot, Tchouameni said: "I'm not troubled by that, because it's a position I've always wanted to be in. As long as I'm followed by the top clubs, that means I'm doing good things."

Listen now to 90min's brand new podcast, Talking Transfers, with Scott SaundersGraeme Bailey & Toby Cudworth. This week they discuss whether Sadio Mane will leave Liverpool for Bayern Munich, Manchester United's pursuit of Benfica striker Darwin Nunez, Newcastle's plans for Moussa Diaby and Sven Botman & Jorginho's future at Chelsea.

Questioned further about whether he had decided on his next move, the Frenchman responded: "No, not yet."

With add-ons, Real Madrid's agreement would see Monaco bring in in excess of £70m for their star player, after the European champions raised their bid from £50m.
