Ranieri's Rants - Monaco (h)

Its looking more and more likely that the Tinkerman will be on his way out of the Bridge this summer, but he still remained as optimistic as ever, and indicated the first Monaco goal as the key moment.

“When we conceded a goal at the end of the first-half, that changed the match.''

“If the first-half finished 2-0 for us, the second-half is another match because they had to attack and we could play in counter-attack. But we had to continue to attack and try to do our best but it was very, very difficult. We draw and we go out from the final against a very good team.

”I am very proud of my players, they were fantastic, but how do you think I feel? Everyone can understand how everyone here feels now."

So now its time to do the double over the scum, and then mock relegated Leeds in the last game knowing second place is secured!
