Open letter to Roman...

Dear Mr Abramovich.
Firstly I would like to say thank you for how you’ve helped transform my club, by spending some of your hard earned cash.
We are now one of the most dominant teams in Europe, rather than one of the brink of collapse. The reason for this letter however, is a plea to stop you turning my club into a joke.
Carlo Ancelotti won the double last year, the first Chelsea manager to do so, and this year, the sides fortunes turned when YOU sacked Ray Wilkins. It wasn’t Carlo’s doings, it was yours.
Under Claudio Ranieri, we never looked liked a side that would run away with the Premier League, so we accepted your decision to fire him. You gave us Jose Mourinho, you gave us a new hero.
He won you trophies, he gave us an identity. You didn’t like that identity, ‘boring boring Chelsea’ wasn’t the tagline you wanted for Chelsea, so you showed him the door.
We wern#t with you on that one, and some fans still want him back but that would be a silly move. You gave Avram Grant a go at the job, he got us to the Champions League Final and finished runners-up of the Premier League despite being several points adrift when he took over. You didn’t care, you sacked him as well.
You wanted a certain brand of football, Barcalona-style. Attractive, good on the eye, and one that people applauded. So I thought you might like to know that Chelsea had the second highest percentage of possession (58%) which was only 2% below Arsenal, who play the best football in England (Barca’s was 74%).
We had the joint highest pass completion rate (84%) with Arsenal. We also had the second highest short passes per game (455). Yes, you guessed it, Arsenal had the highest with 493. In fact, Chelsea are right up there with any stat you want to look at. Carlo had Chelsea playing a good brand of football, but that just wasn’t good enough for you, and you sacked him in a corridor at Goodison Park.
Everybody is laughing at our club, sacking our first Double-winning manager because we only finished runners-up this year.
I know you are desperate to win the Champions League, but your never going to win it if a manager is sacked when we go on a bad run. Chelsea fans appreciate what you’ve done for the club, but if you carry on it won’t be long before we’ll want the axe turned on you.
Get Andre Villas -Boas, get Guus Hiddink and get Gianfranco Zola, and get out of team affairs.
You may own Chelsea, but this is my club.
Regards
Dean Mears
Season Ticket Holder.
