So.... Was This Season A Success ?!

Success is improvement. Achieving something.

This season sees our highest ever finish since we won the league in 1955. How can that not be seen as a success?

Claudio had to cope with injuries (a hell of a lot of them!) suspensions, and trying to build a new squad and gel them together. He has done that, and has lifted us above Manchester United, last year's Premiership winners and to the Semi Finals of the Champions League, furthur than either Man Utd or Arsenal got. (Well, Arsenal couldn't get any furthur than us as we knocked them out!)

Anyway, I think Ranners has done a super job, and this speculation about his position is disgraceful. He should either be sacked now or told he has another season, two seasons, etc. And Peter Kenyon is fast becoming hated by Chelsea fans. He was jeered at the recent Chelsea Question and Answer evening, when he responded to a question reguarding Claudio's future.

"Will Claudio be here next season?" asked the supporter.

Kenyon's reply echoed the one that the spineless bald idiot has been giving us all season.

"Claudio has another three years left on his contract ...." and before he could finsh he was booed and jeered by all attendants. Give us a straight answer mate! Even if its not what we want to hear.

This season has been a success in my opinion. What was Roman and Baldy expecting? A Champions League and Premiership double? Get real. Arsenal's dominance in the league made that impossible, and we were unlucky to fall out that Champions League in the manner that we did. We are only a few points off Arsenal, and their un beaten league season means we had no chance. Even if we had beaten them home and away, they'd have still walked the league.

My question to Kenyon is: "Will Claudio be here next season?"

Yes or no answer please ......
