Player Ratings: Norwich City (h)

Last updated : 20 December 2004 By Liam Corbett
Petr Cech - Had nothing to do. Seriously, not a thing. 7

Paulo Ferreira - Man of the match in my view. Great going foward at times and showed his defensive abilities by having Huckerby in his pocket all game. Really looking the part now. 9

John Terry - Solid again, giving nothing away in the air. 8

William Gallas - Same as Terry, rarely tested but did what he needed to do with little fuss. 7

Wayne Bridge - Seemed more comfortable there than Gallas, although he did a decent job there. Was tested early on but did well. 7

Claude Makelele - Protected the back four perfectly. Gave away the ball a couple of times but we'll forgive him! Even had a shot in the second half, so thats him done for the season! 8

Frank Lampard - Fantastic goal and great link up play for Robben's strike. Terrific range of passing too. Voted man of the match. Could've bagged himself at least two more with a bit more luck and composure. 8

Tiago - Passed the ball well and was more reserved, so Lamps had much more license to drive forward. Clever flick for Robben's goal, teeing the ball up beautifully for the strike. 7

Arjen Robben - Stunning goal! Unselfish for Lampard's goal and terrorised the Norwich defenders with his direct running and approach. Runs faster with the ball than without it! 8

Damien Duff - Composed finish for the goal. Never seems to get the rub of the green when it comes to fouls! Him and Robben look untouchable. 8

Eidur Gudjohnsen - Nothing came off for him, so he ended up coming off for Drogba! 6

Subs:

Drogba - Added a new arial presence to the attack with more directness and power. Quality header for his goal too. 8

Parker - Got stuck in and deserves more time on the pitch. 7

Kezman - Desperate for more goals and he deserves them. 7
