Player Ratings - Blackburn Rovers (a)

Last updated : 01 February 2004 By Liam Corbett
Carlo Cudicini - Fine save in opening minute. Didn't have a lot to do, but should have done better for the second goal. 6

Glen Johnson - Didn't dominate the right wing in the absence of a right winger. Great goal made up for everything !! 7

John Terry - Great covering at the back, didn't put a foot wrong. 8

Gallas - Played very well all afternoon, definetly part of our best defence pairing with JT. 7

Wayne Bridge - At fault for their equaliser, mis-judged the bounce totally. 6

Frank Lampard - Fantastic. Dominated midfield and scored two great goals, unlucky not to get three. 9 MoM

Emmanuel Petit - Broke up a lot of the play that probably went un-noticed. 7

Scott Parker - Very good debut, nothing fancy but still very effective. Got free a couple of times down the right. 7

Claude Makelele - Same as Petit, nothing fancy but did a lot of closing down and un fashionable work. 7

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink - Worked surprisingly hard! Got his fair share of flick ons and an assist for Frank. Awful free kick though! 7

Adrian Mutu - Again worked his socks off and didn't get his goal! Hope this pattern doesn't persist! 7
