Well first things first his footballing ability is second to none. I don’t think I have seen a better foreigner in the Premiership and that includes Bergkamp & Cantona.
Both Bergkamp & Cantona had runs ins with the FA and opposing players. Zola , well a gentleman as well as a real Professional, has had a few yellow cards for minor offences.
He is not just a fantastic player but a genuine guy who cares for the fans. I have had lumps in my throat and tears in my eyes with some of the off the pitch ideas he has - like the goal he promised a young blue (who was dying) but he did not actually score the goal until the young fan had died. He dedicated the best Chelsea goal I have ever seen (V Norwich City) in the FA Cup last season to this young lad.
He might be small in stature but his heart and attitude makes him bigger than any other player in the English or even European game for that matter.
He will always be a Chelsea legend but most of all the BEST player ever (yes ever) to wear the blue of Chelsea.
I swore blind I would never get a name or number on a Chelsea jersey but my last visit to the Bridge I got it - yes you guessed it ZOLA 25.
