Management Farce

Quite frankly, the whole situation has left Chelsea looking incredibly unprofessional. This coming less than a year after the highly professional takeover of the club by Ambramovich and the sterling work ex-Chief Executive Trevor Birch had performed in bringing in so many new faces. In short, we've become a bit of a laughing stock since Peter Kenyon has jumped onboard.

And that is exactly what Kenyon has done- he has jumped on the Chelsea bandwagon. A lifetime Man Yoo fan, Kenyon had no hesitation in ditching his "dream job" at Old Trafford in favour of Abramovich's money. A man of little integrity- you bet he is!

And it's ironic that we have someone managing the players who is the complete opposite of Kenyon. In Claudio Ranieri we have one of the nicest men to have graced English football in a long time. But that is his downfall... nice guys always end up losing!

In his recent meeting with Roman A, Claudio had this to say "I spoke on Thursday with Roman. It was a lovely meeting, and now I can only wait. We talked about players, we talked about the future. Was Mourinho mentioned? No, no, no, because I spoke only about myself and my plans.

"Roman said 'okay Claudio, next week I will give you the answer'."

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like being the answer Claudio deserves. But at least, on a personal and financial level, Claudio will come out of the whole situation smelling of roses. Unfortunately for us Chelsea fans, the club will come out of the whole thing stinking of shit.
