Chelsea are considering a complaint to the FA after referee Graham Poll jabbed Marcel Desailly in the chest in an altercation with the Frenchman.

The incident occurred during Chelsea's 1-1 Premiership draw at Fulham on Sunday when the World Cup and Euro 2000 winner complained to Poll about the dismissal of team-mate Slavisa Jokanovic 10 minutes from time.

Poll was clearly seen jabbing his left forefinger into Desailly's chest and it is also alleged that he grabbed the defender's shirt.

The Blues are considering an official complaint to the Premier League and the FA, and a club spokesman told the Daily Star: "We have seen the pictures and are looking into this but can make no further comment."

The players' union, the PFA, said it would support Chelsea if they wished to take the matter further.
