Jose Mourinho is back at SW6 for a four-year stint.
The Portugeuse ex-boss of Real Madrid flew into London this morning to record a special message for the club's TV channel in which he claims he is "One of you".
Since mine and presumably the vast majority of Chelsea fans will not earn close to the £45m Mourinho is expected to earn should he see out his contract, then being one of us must be seen in the context of PR spin.
Next Monday, he will be unveiled at a press conference at Stamford Bridge. Mourinho failed (by his own high standards) in his final year at Real Madrid. The minimum requirement on him now from Roman Abramovich must be the Premier League title and a serious tilt at the Champions League.
