'We was robbed'

By Hema Kanani
Monday, 8th February 2010
Arsenal fan defends woeful defeat

Arsenal fan Hema Kanani gives her view on yesterday's match which saw her beloved Arsenal get a spanking from London's top team Chelsea.

It's always interesting watching two big teams competing against each other, however it's much more interesting when the two teams are both hungrily chasing those three points to bring them closer to the silverware.

Chelsea had the cutting edge yesterday.

The first goal by Didier Drogba sent shivers down the Gooners' backs - bringing back that all too familiar feeling that they were destined to fail once again.

Arsenal had improved since their thrashing against Manchester United the week before at home, but at Stamford Bridge showed that they were robbed of the points due to poor decisions taken by the referee. We owned that game!

Does Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger now need to forget the Premier League title for this season?
Should he just concentrate on the Champions League - or will it be another year of no silverware displayed at the Emirates, something that the team and the fans seem to be getting used too.

Wednesday's league game against Liverpool will decide Arsenal's fate for the season.

What I know is that Arsenal are a strong team, however they haven't experienced the feeling of winning a cup.

They don't quite have the match-winning know how of Chelsea and that was evident in this defeat.
