Chelsea will hold a open-top victory parade on Sunday, May 16.
It will kick-off at the Bridge at 1pm and snake around the roads in the usual fashion - so get your flags out and cheer on the boys and all the staff.
But Chelsea-Mad can reveal that had the Blues lost out on the title yesterday then there would not have been a parade at all.
Chelsea would have forked out to the relevent councils the necesary cash to be able to get permission for the parade only if the title was won and not from winning the FA Cup only.
Of course, the Blues still have to play the final which is on Saturday and if they win the west Londoners will have the historic Double to add to the counteless titles and cups won in the Abramovich era.
Chelsea have failed to reach agreement with the council on previous occasions when the FA Cup was won and disappointed thousands of genuine fans in the process and a council source revealed that Chelsea would not have had the parade this time either.
But now fans will have the chance to sing and dance and show to the players what they think of their remarkable season.
Let's hope the weather holds.
