Twitter Reacts as Frank Lampard Drops Chelsea's Record Signing Kepa Arrizabalaga (at Last)

So...it finally happened. After months of disappointing form Kepa Arrizabalaga has finally been dropped by Chelsea.

The world's most expensive goalkeeper has been replaced in nets by penalty-saving god Willy Caballero for the Blues' visit to the King Power Stadium to take on Leicester this afternoon and social media is in raptures.

Dropping the club's record signing for a 38-year before one of Chelsea's most important games of the season so far is a ballsy move from Frank Lampard, but supporters were generally supportive of their manager's decision.

Many praised the Englishman on social media for his ruthless selection policy.

Still...not everyone backed the decision. Some viewed Caballero as a significant downgrade and feared the worse.

Especially with the Blues taking on a team including the Premier League's top scorer Jamie Vardy.

Will Lampard's decision backfire? Or will big Willy rise to the occasion? Let's wait and see.
