Turkish FA hints at Hiddink departure

The Turkish FA has given their clearest indication that Gus Hiddink will leave them and saunter up the Kings Road and take the poisoned chalice that is Chelsea coach.

Reports today suggest a softening of Hiddink's steely reputation of not quitting and honouring contracts.

With a £7.5m a year deal on the Hiddink sideboard for him to mull over, an FA insider is suggesting Hiddink will leave because his trusted friend at the Turkish FA may also be leaving.
Yes someone called Mahmut Ozgener, the Turkish FA chief's future is in doubt.

Some might say this is a cleverly orchrstrated briefing to suit all sides, Chelsea-Mad could not possibly comment!

Hiddink will have his reputation intact - because it was the honourable thing to do to leave the Turkish FA in the lurch with Euro 2012 qualification still in their hands.

Such honour will sit unhappliy within the corridors of SW6 where honour has no place.

Hiddink's appointment is expected very soon.

Then quickly after that, Chelsea will announce the departure of several senior players. Jose Bosingwa and Yuri Zhirkov will leave officially on June 30, but it fair to say they are now on holiday and won't be back to pick up their boots.

Hilario, yes, remember him - he will also be out the revolving Chelsea door too.
Add that to the youngsters who have already left, Borini and Mancienne, and Hiddink will have a few spaces to fill in his squad for next season.
