Torres scores - yes honestly - in a match...

Fernando Torres has scored his first goal of the season.

The Spanish hitman, who signed in January for a lot of money hit the back of the net against Wycombe Wanderers yesterday in a 3-0 rout of the League One side.

Yossi Benayoun and 22-year-old centre-back Slobodan Rajkovic netted the other goals in a 'behind doors' match at the Cobham training ground.

Chelsea fielded different sides in each half.

Apparently it was a good work-out for all concerned.

The first real test of course comes against Portsmouth on Saturday when paying guests will have the chance to get their first look at rookie manager Andre Villas-Boas's side.

We have been promised wins with flair this season.

We can hardly wait.
