Torres happy with the idea of new strikers at Chelsea

Chelsea have wanted to sign at least one striker since the summer due to the decrease of strikers numbers in the club. With Sturridge now moving to Liverpool at a fee of around ?12 million, Chelsea are left with Torres as their only out and out striker.

Torres started the season well however he seemed to have lost his way during October and November, but in the last few weeks he seems to have regained his form in a Chelsea shirt. Abramovic signed Benitez in hope of a rejuvenated number 9 and the plan has seemed to have worked a treat.

Benitez believes that Chelsea are still able to sign top strikers even though they were knocked out of Europe's elite competition. Benitez is keen to sign the likes of Falcao and Willian and maybe even bring back Lukaku from West Brom as he is hitting form.

Benitez said that "Fernando is ready to fight for his position. He has no problem because he has a lot of confidence and he is enjoying now his football".

This is a good sign for the Chelsea fans as Torres is growing in confidence and scoring more goals and the likes of Falcao could be joining Chelsea in the up coming transfer window.

Comment below on what you think will happen to Torres and Chelsea during the rest of the season.
