Chelsea will look to avenge their FA Cup final defeat from last year when they take on Leicester City at Wembley in front of 21,000 fans this Saturday.
The Blues suffered defeat in the final in 2020 to Arsenal, and their build up to this final was ruined by the Gunners too thanks to Mikel Arteta's side winning 1-0 at Stamford Bridge. Thomas Tuchel rotated his side for that game though, giving an insight to what his starting lineup could be.
Here's a look at the team that is most likely to start the 140th FA Cup final this weekend for the west London outfit.
1. Goalkeeper and Defenders
Kepa Arrizabalaga (GK) - The Spaniard is firmly the number two goalkeeper behind Edouard Mendy, but he does play in the cup competitions and will start this final.
Cesar Azpilicueta (CB) - Azpilicueta has been excellent in the back three since Tuchel took over, keeping the ball well and becoming one of his most trusted defenders.
Thiago Silva (CB) - The Brazilian was brought in on a free transfer from PSG last summer to add a winning mentality to the team and it's worked perfectly, so he will start this cup final.
Antonio Rudiger (CB) - Brought in from the cold, Rudiger has arguably been the standout defender since the turn of the year and has more than earned his place in the side.
2. Midfielders
Reece James (RM) - With Andreas Christensen a doubt with a hamstring injury, James should start in the wing-back position to add dynamism to the wide areas.
N'Golo Kante (CM) - One of the best defensive minded midfielders in the world, you're basically playing with an extra man when he's on it and Kante will be even more motivated when he comes up against his old side.
Jorginho (CM) - The tempo setter of the team, Jorginho's passing will be key to finding the holes in the Leicester side and his best performances have come alongside Kante.
Ben Chilwell (LM) - The England international has had a pretty solid debut season with Chelsea since signing from Leicester last summer and has earned his place as the first choice wing back over Marcos Alonso.
3. Forwards
Mason Mount (FW) - Without a doubt the Chelsea player of the season, anything good the team does seems to come through Mount.
Timo Werner (FW) - Werner has endured a tough season but is still the team's joint top scorer this season and has the most assists too, so must start.
Kai Havertz (ST) - Like Werner, it's been a tough debut season for the 21-year-old German but Havertz has kicked on in recent weeks in this new position and should expect to get the nod here.
