John Terry scored the opening goal in the 5-0 drubbing of German side Schalke tonight and was naturally delighted with his performance but also with the team as a whole.
"it was a great performance from the lads tonight," said Terry.
"My goal killed them off but our second and third goals were great.
"We are delighted to go through with a game to go.
"The forwards played excellent, they put in a shift in defending well.
"We want to continue, we are not getting carried away.
