Shevchenko's agent says Chelsea can't afford AC Milan ace

Oscar Damiano, the agent of newly-elected European Footballer of the Year Andriy Shevchenko is talking up his player about a possible move from AC Milan to Chelsea during the January transfer market.
In a not so clever bit of spin, Damiano is ridiculing Chelsea into making an outlandish bid for his Ukrainian striker.
Damiano is reported to have said: "They (Chelsea) may be interested but there is no chance, even if they make a ridiculous offer.
"They would have no chance on personal terms alone. He is one of the world's five best players and is paid as such."

There is no doubt that Jose admires the Milan ace and it's also true that we are one striker short of our desired quota of four with the loss of Adrian Mutu.

So what do you make of this unprovoked comment from his agent?
