Poor Lennie Pidgeley

Spare a thought for Lennie Pidgeley.

In our recent pole, http://www.chelsea-mad.co.uk/polls/voting_polls.asp
we asked you who you would prefere to see in goal on Sunday in the Carling Cup Final against Liverpool now that Carlo Cudicini is rulled out through suspension.

Understandably, you top choice was our number one stopper Petr Cech with 51.6%.
But Glen Johnson came a close second with 42.2% with Len trailing behind in third with 6.3%.

Glen, of course, went in goal in disasterous FA Cup exit at Newcastle last Sunday when Carlo was dismissed.

With three subs already on, an outfield player had to go in goal and Glen put on the shirt and gloves and did himself proud.

In fact, he make a magnificent save from a free-kick - that must give him 100% shot to save ratio.

Perhaps your voting was spot on after all!

The pole votes are just for fun of course Len, no offence intended - we all wish you the best if you play some part on Sunday.
