Emmanuel Petit has hailed his decision to join Chelsea despite admitting that The Blues are still a long way off being genuine title contenders.

The French international midfielder returned to the Premiership in a £7.5million deal just a year after quitting London rivals Arsenal for Barcelona.
Petit believes his decision to join Claudio Ranieri's side will enable him to return to the form of his Gunners days, though he admits the club do not yet have a squad as strong, or as good enough, to compete with the country's top sides.
On his decision to join the Stamford Bridge outfit, Petit said: "At Chelsea I have found what I was looking for.
"It was a very positive decision to come back to England, particularly Chelsea, and I can assure the fans that my best as a player is still to come."
However, the former Monaco star was quick to point out that he felt issues away from the field, would get in the way of any hopes the side had of challenging for the Premiership title.
"I know we are unbeaten so far, and off course their is a long way to go in the season, but although we have a very good side, our squad does not compare with the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Leeds. We have many new players who have only been at the club for a short time, at clubs like those I have mentioned, many of the players have been there for years."
Petit also pointed out that the club's training facilities will also hold up their progress.
"The training pitches here are on an amateur level, and the training ground is very poor compared to what we had at Arsenal," Petit added.
