Parks' Starting Afresh!

Scotty, who is line to play at Pompey tonight, has come in for some harsh criticism from various quarters of Charlton after his controversial transfer last month. Parker claims that he was not in the wrong as Charlton gave him their word that he could sign for a top three club if they came in for him. Charlton say he acted like a spoilt brat. Who's in the right??

And, quite frankly, who cares?? It's all in the past now! Scott said "It felt quite weird watching the game from there. I was pleased that I was introduced to the crowd, but it had to be done in that way because of the Charlton fans.

"I feel a line has been drawn under the transfer now. I want it to come to an end and now I can enjoy playing my football for Chelsea and continue where I left off at Charlton, trying to do well for the team.

"I've come here willing to learn and just want to be part of it. I've settled in quite well and the lads have been brilliant."

"It's been suggested in the past that Chelsea haven't got that sort of spirit but since I've been here, I've seen it a bit differently with the togetherness we've got here."
