Olivier Giroud's camp has hit out at Inter after a proposed move for the striker failed to materialise, forcing him to remain at Chelsea until the end of the season.

The 33-year-old was heavily linked with a move away from Chelsea throughout the transfer window, with regular first team football a priority for the France international ahead of Euro 2020.
Inter came closest to landing Giroud, but the move fell apart during the final days of the transfer window, with the Serie A outfit no longer able to afford the deal after completing the signings of Ashley Young and Christian Eriksen, much to the frustration of the Giroud camp.
Speaking to French news outlet RMC, a source close to Giroud said:
Movement in the Giroud transfer saga as Spurs agree a fee for the Frenchman. The deal will only go through if Chelsea can secure a replacement.
