Of course JT is England captain

John Terry remains England's skipper and to be quite honest it's a disgrace that there should ever have been a question mark surrounding his position.
Okay, England failed to reach the Euros this summer under his stewardship, but had he played in the final match we would certainly not have lost - we would have gone on and perhaps won the thing.
Anyhow, how can it be that Rio - an outstanding player, was even considered to be JT's rival for the armband?

Rio is not even Man United's second-choice skipper.
When Phil Neville returns full-time, Ryan Giggs will hand back the United armband to the right-back.
No, JT should have never had the captaincy taken away from him.
Fabio Capello should never have even considered changing the skipper.
JT got the armband when David Beckham resigned from the post.
JT should only hand over the role if injured or when he no longer feels he's the right man to lead the England team.
Tomorrow, JT leads the boys out at Wembley in a friendly against the Czech.
He will lead England into the World Cup 2010 campaign and hopefully to the finals in South Africa.
Capello has made his first major decision and got it spoit on - he ignored the northern of England's media demands for Rio.
Good luck JT - it was never in doubt.
