His agent Pat Devlin told Sky Sports "I don't think there is anything to worry about. Damien is not troubled by his arrival because as long as he gets a bit of sleep and is playing football he is happy.
"He can play up front, central midfield, left back, anywhere.
"It doesn't matter where this player (Robben) has come from, China, Ajax or wherever he won't be better than Damien."
