Nicolas Anelka has been handed an 18-month international ban by the French FA.
It follows Anelka's actions during the World Cup which led to a boycott of training.
France were dumped out at the group stage.
It means Nico won't play againt England at Wembley for the friendly match on 17 November.
If it's any consolation, Man Utd's Patrice Evra was given a five-match ban.
