Nando notches four

Fernando Torres smacked four goals past little Tahiti tonight as Spain thumped the minnows 10-0 in the Rio De Janeiro.

Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata notched up a goal as well. Cesar Azpilicueta was the third of the Blues players on show and he had a solid if uninspired game at right back. Bizarrely, TV pundit Robbie Savage blasted Torres's performance, claiming he "was poor".

Okay, Torres did miss a penalty, ramming his spot kick off the crossbar, but he wasn't that bad.
The other scorers were David Villa who netted a hat trick, David Silva who notched up a brace.
Spain are now favourites to win Group B with just a final match against Nigeria on Sunday.

<p>If  all goes to plan they will avoid Brazil in the semi-final stage. The hosts face Italy on Saturday.

David Luiz will face nose surgery at the end of the Confederations Cup tournament after breaking his beak against Mexico yesterday .
The Chelsea centre back is quoted as saying: "I'll have to wait until the end of the competition and undergo surgery to fix it.
"Yes, my nose is broken, but that's part of the game."
