After an explosive start to this season, Adrian then went through a barren run which has seen him score just once in the Premiership since netting at Everton in November. Up until March, his general play was enough to warrant a regular place in the side. But for the past two months he has barely featured, looking totally off the ball when he has actually played.

Most of this can be attributed to the fact that it is only his first season in England, but if he continues to act like a prima donna, he will lose the faith of the Chelsea fans who have been so supportive of him through his bad spell.
