Lamps let down by McClaren

Frank Lampard must be fuming at the treatment handed out by England boss Steve McClaren.
Not only has the feebly-minded England boss bowed to pressure from sections of the national print media by not installing our Frank back into the starting line-up after injury. but he failed to support Frank when asked about the crowd's boo chants at the midfielder.
Frank came on against Estonia on Saturday as a substitute for Michael Owen and there was a sizable number of fans booing his entry to the pitch.
When asked about the incident in the post-match press conference, McClaren refused ro criticise the fans and said that Frank must deal with it.
What a disgrace from a manager.
He should have come out and made a stand.
He should have stated in no uncertain terms how wrong it was for any England supporter to boo an England player.
McClaren's actions legitimises those that booed and there is nothing that Frank will be able to do on the pitch to stop it.
Terry Venables, to his credit, (now there's a proper man-manager) said quite rightly it was wrong of the fans and that it should stop.
McClaren wants to stay in the job as long as possible and he sees the easiet way is to do what the red top nationals tell him and placate the moronic few who think it's ever so funny to boo an England player.
Frank must be so angry at McClaren, and he has every reason to do so.
Slimy McClaren should go and go now.
