JT's Second Chance

Terry is eager to put the past behind him after a traumatic 12 months and he has certainly done his talking with the football when he has been given the chance to play this season.

And even he can see why he has not been playing much this season... not his court case, the form of William Gallas and Marcel Desailly. The pair of them have been rock solid for most of the campaign. But, credit to JT, he has managed to muscle his way into the side- and now he shares his thoughts on the matter!

Speaking on Chelsea TV, JT said "Now I've got my chance and hopefully I'll get a proper run in the side during the second half of the season.

"To be captain of this side is a great achievement. Everyone knows I love this club and I've been here so many years that to captain the side is a dream come true.

"When I first came into the side, I thought I'd never play as many games as some of the other players. But now I've reached more than 100 games and I hope there will be a few more hundreds to come.

"I've grown up as a player in the past couple of years. In the first couple of seasons, I probably went straight into tackles but I've learned from William and Marcel that I should hold players up and wait for support to come.

"I'm always looking to improve my game in any way that I can.''

What a pro!
