Jose Mourinho Claims He Knows Frank Lampard's Tactical Plan Ahead of Crunch Premier League Clash

Jose Mourinho is never too far away from the headlines, is he?

This time, the Tottenham boss has claimed that he knows what formation Frank Lampard will look to use on Saturday for their Premier League clash.

The Blues are currently sat in fourth place in the league, but Spurs could move above them with either a draw or a win at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Ahead of the game, Mourinho, who will be visiting his old club for the first time since taking over their London rivals, has now claimed that he knows what tactics Lampard will utilise.

"I was told they were back to a back five which is what they normally do when their results are not the best," he said, as quoted by the Daily Mail

This is already a fairly controversial statement to make, even by Mourinho's lofty standards. However, the 57-year-old decided to go even further by refusing to answer a question about how he knows this. The former Manchester United manager merely pointed towards the way journalists are allowed to not disclose where they get their information from.

When asked how he knows, he replied: "The same way journalists have a lot of news and you don't tell the sources."

Is this...Spygate 2.0? And is it happening to Frank Lampard again?

Lampard was in charge at Derby last season when Leeds were caught spying on their training sessions, with boss Marcelo Bielsa eventually admitting that he sent a member of staff to go and spy on them. Leeds, of course, went on to win the game 2-0, but the club were later fined £200,000.

Elsewhere, Mourinho was also quick to point out that Chelsea are in pole position finish in fourth place, while he further added that his side are the underdogs, along with United, Arsenal, Sheffield United, Wolves and Everton.

He added: "Of course Chelsea are favourites for fourth at this moment. Tottenham, Manchester United, Arsenal, Sheffield United, Wolverhampton, Everton - we are the underdogs. Chelsea has an advantage over all of us. That is obvious."

The Portuguese has insisted that he does not have a problem with his former club, but he has admitted that he expects 'the usual' hostile treatment for the upcoming clash.

"On the street, every time I am approached by fans from all different clubs - not just the clubs where I've been working before - I am approached with care, respect, great feelings. I know if I want to go [to Chelsea] I just need to pick up the phone and I will be treated the way I deserve."
