Jose: I'm not under pressure

Jose Mourinho is rueing his side's bad luck as he oversees another defeat - this time. 3-1 thumping at Goodison Park against Everton.
But he is not feeling under any personal pressure. " The refugees are the ones that are under pressure," he said.
But of the game, Mourinho added:" "The result is the thing that went wrong against Everton.
"We played for a better result and we didn't deserve to lose. We started the game well and finished well.
"But the confidence is low. The players are unhappy because of the bad results.
"Obviously they have doubts, coming from every unlucky incident in every match. But for me, the players deserves a much better result than they got.
"Everything is going against us, but we are making mistakes and we are getting punished immediately. You lose an opposition player for the first time and you concede a goal. they have one shot from outside the boxing they score.
"After that' we had a fantastic reaction.
"We then scored a goal and Hazard had two fantastic chances. The ball hits the defender twice. When it looks like the ball is going for goal, it goes for a corner.
"In the second half, we controlled the game. We risked things by changing formation.
They defended and the first time they crossed the half-way line, they scored another goal.
My players feel bad, that things are going against us.
"It's the old story of the striker when things goes well, he scores off his elbow, or knee. When things go wrong, it's a fantastic shot, but it hits the post and bar - confidence is low. Everything is more difficult."
But how is Mourinho going to arrest the decline?
"We need to win a couple of consecutive matches and get the players to smile again," he said.
"We need strikers to score goal, the central defenders not not make mistakes which are then punished. We need confidence.
"Confidence is fundamental. The players fight, try but, the reality is difficult for them and it's not easy to play.

With just four points from five league games, does Mourinho think he can retain the title?
"I think we can win the next match against Arsenal, for sure," he said.
"But I don't know if we can win the title.
"To win title we depend on us to improve a lot but also it depends on other clubs above us to lose matches and it's beyond our control - but we can beat Arsenal."

So how is the luck going to turn in his favour?
"When you play against teams who are winning it's more difficult. I want to play against Everton like I did last season here when we are wining.
"Then you have lots of clear chances. But when they are winning, they then defend. It's more difficult. They put players in front of us and defend deep.
"We have to break down defences. Hazard had two shots where the goalkeeper goes to one side, and the ball the other side aft hitting a defender.
I only played at lower level . But it doesn't matter what level you play, you know when that happens, it's bad luck."

Mourinho refuses to play the pressure game when asked if he is under it personally.
Rather he talks as if reading off a crib sheet.
"I am not under pressure personally. I think the refugees are under bigger pressure.
It's a pleasure and a honour and I feel happiness every day being Chelsea's manager."
