Chelsea have off-loaded Czech midfielder Jiri Jarosik to Celtic on a three-year deal.
Jiri , 28 joined Chelsea in January 2005 from CSKA Moscow, but made just 20 appearances, only six of them starts.
He was farmed out to relegated Birmingham City last season.
"He has tremendous ability and experience of playing at the highest level," said Celtic manager Gordon Strachan.
"He is someone I feel will make an important contribution to the club as we look towards the challenges ahead, both at home and in Europe."
