Is Carlo Scolari in disguise?

The boys are in Nicosia, Cyprus, ahead of tomorrow night's Champions League encounter against APOEL- why do they get a team name in capital letters?
Anyhow, following Saturday's extraordinary result, Chelsea have to put on a massive performance to regain their confidence and that of their fans that a repeat of last season is not unfolding.
This time last season, Scolari lauded his wingless wonders and after an impressive early start, found he was unable to change things round when the opposition found it easy to counter the attacking play of the full-backs - thus leaving the Blues impotent in attacking options.
Is the same about to happen? Is Ancelotti just another Scolari?- no plan B or C or sometimes even a robust plan A.
The upcoming games against the Cypriots and Sunday's mega-match against Liverpool at the Bridge will go someway to confirming Ancelotti's status as a manager.
He won just one league title with AC MIlan in eight years afterall - the omens are not good.
There is not a hope in hell he will get into a third year if he does not deliver the Premier League in this or next season.
So tomorrow is vital.
Petr Cech will be between the posts but the Blues will be without Mikel and Michael Ballack who remain at home injured.
One man certain to play some part in the match, to add that necessary guile, is Joe Cole.
Coley has being out since January.
He played the full 90 minutes against QPR in the Carling Cup last week, playing well to boot but missed the debacle at Wigan with a cold.
He could prove pivotal to Chelsea's season and Ancelotti's future.
Stay fit Joe, please.
Another Cole, this time Ashley has recovered from the injury sustained in the 3-1 defeat at the DW stadium.
Drogba and Bosingwa are still suspended so Kalou and Anelka will provide the attacking thrust.
With Terry and Carvalho at centre-back, Ivanovic will take the right-back berth.
Malouda and Lampard will patrol the middle with Essien in the Maka role.
Probably Kalou will hang around on the right leaving Anelka as the focal point of the attack.
But who really knows what is going through Ancelotti mind - hopefully he has a solid set of strategies prepared and also a strong bench to allow him to employ them.
We shall see.
