Henry to come to Bridge

Last updated : 04 December 2006 By Paul Lagan
Thiery Henry could be Chelsea's biggest signing ever in the summer.
The Arsenal striker is injured and out of action for six weeks.
But weekend rumours of a fall-out with boss Arsene Wenger could ignite Chelsea's interest in the Frenchman.
Roman Abramovich made it clear when he took over at the Bridge that he wanted Henry and made a bid of £50m.
Arsenal turned it down and Chelsea went on to win a couple of Premiership titles without him.
Now is the time to test the waters again and Henry might now think that his time at Arsenal has come to a natural conclusion.
Henry was made captain to placate him when Patrick Viera moved to Italy.
He was also keen to see the club into their new stadium.
What now for Henry?
His club are promising but unlikely to mount a challenge for the Premiership for a couple of years at best.
The Champions League? - Well Arsenal played sublime football to reach the final last season, but look unlikey to be able to replicate those performances.
I suggest now is the time for Ash to have a quiet word in Henry's ear and tell him the time to jump ship is now.
So would you welcome Henry?
