Chelsea could be prepared to sell Hakim Ziyech due to a supposed breakdown in the player's relationship with Thomas Tuchel.
Ziyech only arrived at the club last summer, although a €40m deal was struck the previous February. During his first season at Stamford Bridge Ziyech showed glimpses of quality and also scored the winner in Chelsea's FA Cup semi-final win over Manchester City.
However, under both Frank Lampard and Tuchel he was in and out of the team with many of his 39 appearances coming from the bench. According to Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sport Witness), Ziyech may not be around for much longer.
It is said that the 28-year-old's relationship with Tuchel has broken down past the point of no return. Due to this the club are said to be willing to part with the wide forward and Milan could be interested in securing his signature.
The Rossoneri returned to the Champions League this season by securing a second-place finish in Serie A and Stefano Pioli is looking to bolster his ranks. He is believed to be a big fan of Ziyech who prior to a stuttering season at Chelsea had a terrific record at Ajax.
His apex was the 2018/2019 campaign where he managed a stunning 16 goals and 17 assists in just 29 Eredivisie games, as well as helping his side come within a few seconds of reaching the Champions League final.
Although Milan's interest is likely genuine, the chances of a move going through are remote. Even if there is a rift between Tuchel and Ziyech, Chelsea will surely want to persist with him for at least another season, There is also the question of how Milan would cover Ziyech's hefty wages and transfer fee after spending so long outside the Champions League.
