Gronkjaer Content To Rotate

Jesper Gronkjaer speaks to Danish newspaper BT about life at Chlesea: "When I signed the contract I knew they had a rotation system, and if I felt bad about it I shouldn't have chosen Chelsea. I suppose I did it to test myself.

"It's quite hard to name regulars at Chelsea. There are a few who play each time, while there is a bigger group of players who are in and out of the team.

"Lately I've been playing a lot, but that could easily change. It's working for me at the moment though. We are now earning points in games we wouldn't get anything from before, and that's the big difference from earlier to now.''

Jesper goes on to talk about his contract at Chelsea, currently with 2 years left to run: "It's a long time before my contract expires. Football today isn't like it was before. We just have to wait and see what happens."

I'll tell you something- if Jesper improved his crossing, he'd be one hell of a player. He wouldn't have to worry about his contract then...
