Jose Mourinho's Tottenham Hotspur missed the chance to move above Chelsea and into fourth place in the Premier League as they were defeated 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.
Mourinho returned to Stamford Bridge for the first time since he controversially took over at London rivals Spurs in November.
Prior to Saturday's clash, the former Manchester United boss was keen to discuss his side's injury crisis, insisting that helping Spurs finish in a Champions League qualification space would, in fact, be his...greatest achievement.
In typical Mourinho fashion, he also went on to reveal that he knew what formation Chelsea were going to play (he was correct) before adding that his team are the underdogs in the race to finish fourth.
However, unfortunately for him, he was unable to prevent his former club from picking up a valuable three points on Saturday. Olivier Giroud gave the hosts the lead before Marcos Alonso made it 2-0. And although Antonio Rudiger turned the ball into his own net in the closing stages, the north London side were unable to find a leveller.
