Chelsea have replaced dumped Chelsea legend Ray Wilkins.

Wilkins who had a glittering international career and also played for AC Milan, Manchester United, Rangers and a few more top European clubs and who also managed QPR and Fulham as well as part of the Chelsea management team that succesfully won the FA Cup during Gianluca Vialli's tenure as boss and the Double last season was replaced today by Chelsea opposition scout Michael Emenalo.

Few would have heard of Emenalo, but he joined Chelsea in 2007, brought to Stamford Bridge by Avram Grant.

Emenalo's football career was mostly played in the US but he did turn out for Nigeria in the 1994 World Cup.

He played for mighty Notts County and Spanish giant Lleida in Spain and Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel.

Chelsea confirmed his appointment today and said he will split his duties between assisting First Team Coach Carlo Ancelotti and updating his coaching qualifications, which presuambly means he will be taking more advanced coaching qualifications. Chelsea have not elaborated as to what qualifications he holds but he will sitting beside Ancelotti and talented coach Paul Clement on Saturday in the away game against Birmingham.
