Eidur scored a superb winner against Man City at the weekend, a victory that moved us up to second place in the table. If we can stay there, Claudio Ranieri will have a job next season- or so says Eidur Gudjohnsen.

Speaking to the Evening Standard, Eidur said "If we can finish second, hopefully that will put an end to all the speculation about his job.

"The manager has not been affected by all the talk about his job and neither have the players. We are all 100% committed.

"I refuse to give up even though I won't say I'm very confident of winning the title. I'd still like us to be able to put the pressure on if or when Arsenal slip up. At least we would have done our jobs."

Nice to see some positive thinking for a change!
