Defence dilemma for Mourinho

Chelsea will be without both left-backs for the start of their Champions League match against Anderlecht tomorrow night.

Wayne Bridge is weeks away from recovering from long-term injury and Asier del Horno is out with a thigh muscle pull.

The Spaniard has been in brilliant form since signing for the Blues in the summer, scoring his first goal for Chelsea in the victory over Spurs two weeks' ago.

But he limped off seconds from time in Saturday's 2-0 home over Sunderland.

Jose Mourinho confirmed he will not play against the Belgium side.
Mourinho will probably break up his central defensive partnership of William Gallas and John Terry, moving the Frenchman to the left-back berth.

Ricardo Carvalho, a substitute on Saturday, the most likely replacement for Gallas.

Paulo Ferreira, rested on Saturday, will return at right-back in place of man-of-the-match and goal scorer Geremi.
