Although the official club’s website says on Saturday that Deco has signed for Fluminense, Chelsea-Mad understands that the midfielder has yet to actually put pen to paper.
Deco was allowed to return to Brazil on compassionate grounds recently and while out there, Chelsea and Fluminense agreed terms for an undisclosed fee.
However Deco is still with his family and has not as yet signed the contract.
This however is just a formality and it’s expected our former Porto and Barcelona midfielder will sign today or tomorrow at the very latest..
Fans will have mixed feeling about Deco.
They never saw the same player who starred for Porto or Barca.
Injuries and a changing style of play at SW6 hindered the little man.
