Crespo: I Want To Stay

Crespo, 29, supposedly asked for a move away from the Bridge and was late reporting for pre-season training.

However, a move to AC Milan now seems unlikely. Crespo's best mate at the club, Juan Seba Veron, has already been shipped out to Inter Milan, and it will be interesting to see how Crespo does in the Premiership, with a full pre season behind him.

Unlike Veron, Crespo actually seems keen to remain a blue!

"I love Chelsea and made a commitment to the club when I came to London last year," he told The Daily Mirror.

"It is tough when you train hard and you work hard and then you are not given a chance. This happened last season and I hope it will not happen this season.

"I do not want to turn my back on Chelsea. I am willing to fight for the club and the team."

In my opinion, Crespo is probably one of the top 5 finishers in European, maybe world football. We won't be able to buy a better finisher in the transfer market so I would keep Hernan! He seems to want to stay.
